Friends of Fryston Wood

Who are we ?

To promote the improvement of Fryston Woods as well as access to the sites through education, awareness and demonstrations.

Over the best part of a decade Friends of Fryston Woods has strived to improve the woodlands around the Eastern side of Castleford, and encourage access to those woods.

In conjunction with Castleford Heritage Trust the Friends group works with a Woodland Access Ranger to deliver community events, practical work in the woods, improvements to access and school sessions in Fryston Woods.
